37 Weeks, Wait 36 Weeks!!!

So I went to the doctors and she finally put it together that I am 36 week and not 37 Weeks. I explain in the doctors section of my post. I am feeling it a little more now then before. I think I have officially started the pregnancy waddle, especially if I am tired, sore, or have to pee. I will update picture from the baby shower when I get the pictures!

Problems/ Issues: squished from the inside. This week I have felt more and more like I was being suffocated from the inside. I feel him up higher and feel like I cant breath. It is not all the time just here and there but its like the first time I have really felt that. When it hits I take shorter breaths and feel the urge to rip off my shirt so I can breath better. Haha I have felt a tiny bit crampy this week and some hip/ pelvic pain but not bad. Rib still hurts at least once a day but not as bad as the other weeks. Oh bending over is getting pretty hard along with shaving my legs. Yeah forget painting my toes:( I went to a yoga class the other day and man it was hard when we did a standing forward fold. Bending over like that was hard. I made sure I bent my knee to make it a little easier. I am putting on my sock sideways now and starting to second guessing picking up certain things off the ground. Haha so I have noticed that its really hard to concentrate. I cant think to much about something or else I feel like my brain is going to explode and I give up, haha I am glad I am done with school and that I dont have to think too hard these days.

Doctors: So the doctors went good. She checked to see if he was head down and he is. She answered my questions and changed my due date. I brought it to her attention that the first ultrasound measurements calculated the due date on Oct 3rd. So they changed it to that, instead of going off my last menstral cycle. That way it decreases the chances of being induced. With Kasier, they won't let u go 7 days past ur due date. This way the baby has more time, if he isn't ready to come out. Next week she will check for dilation and such. I have been telling each new doctor I would see and even the nurses that I am pretty sure I am a week later then they were telling me. No one of them really care enough to double check and really look at the first ultrasound meausrements. According to the very first ultrasound and the 20 week ultrasound (where they check all the measurements) I was measureing smaller then they thought. This doctor finally figured it out and said oh yeah it is. She said yeah I will change ur due date. I normally wont really care too much but b/c of the rule about being induced I care. I want this baby to come when HE is ready!

Movements: The baby ( I feel ) has gotten bigger this week and therefore is moving but not as crazy. The movements are slower and more powerful, if that make sense. I feel him very low and high all at the same time. At night I wake up in pain b/c he is lodged up super high and its hurts. I just get up and go the pee, make a little more room for him and he sinks back down:)

Food: I thought I would be more crazy with food while prego but I guess not! Its not that bad, they are somethings that I just dont want to eat and dont. I dont really have cravings that much. I am sad that I havent hated sugar or sweets while being prego, that would have been awesome.

Exercise: Still able to do a crunch or two:) This makes me very happy! I love exercising and I am so grateful I still can and move pretty good. I did a Boot Camp class the other day and the ladies in the class thought I was crazy but really its not that hard and if I get tired I just modify. People dont realize that all you have to do is read your body and how you feel and MODIFY. You dont have to stop and leave the class or not show up b/c its too hard just do what you can and make up the rest:) If what they are doing is too hard for you do something that you can handle. For example, jumping up and down for the most part is just uncomfortable for me so I dont do it. When the class jumps up and down I just go side to side. Its better for decreasing impact on the joints.

Thoughts: Still wearing my wedding ring:) So annoyed though b/c I found a stretch mark or two but not on my belly:( very sad day!  Baby shower was last Saturday and it was very nice and fun. We got lots of good stuff and we rearranged the rooms around to get everything set up for the babies arrival. We feel ready now. Got the car seat, stroller, crib and bedding all set up, along with the changing table and his baby clothes washes and put in the dresser. Oh yeah and Buy Buy Baby called today and said my rocking/swivel chair is ready for pick up. It came early. They said it takes anywhere from 6 to 10 weeks to have made. I was nervous that it wasn't going to come in time. Next week would have been the 6 week mark, so I am pretty excited to go pick it up and see how it fits in our room. Still need a baby monitor and a bobby. Norris wants a video monitor so we might get that depending on funds. I dont really care to much if its a video monitor or not as long as it works. Well sleep is hard some nights but not all nights. If I am super tired I sleep great but if not then I am up at least one to three times throughout the night. Thats a lot for me. I always have been a great sleeper and would never really wake up at night and I could sleep in too. I know this is probably preparing my body for what is to come (the baby crying throughout the night).

Hospital Tour: Last week Norris and I toured the hospital and it was great. My really good friend, Shannon's mom is a labor and delivery nurse at the hospital we are going to deliver at. She also does the tours down there so she offered to do a private tour for us:) So awesome! It was a nice quit night and she took her time and we got to ask all our silly questions. It was so nice of her to do that. The labor area of the hospital is very nice and the delivery room was HUGE! I was shocked. I am so grateful for great health insurance and I know the baby and I will be taken great care of. I did freak out a little when she told us there were women delivering right then as we would walking down the hall. All the nurses and doctors seemed very calm and like nothing was going on. It was one of those moments that I realized ok wow this baby really does have to come out of ME and the time is getting closer. I always hear other peoples stories of labor but its almost time for my own story and experience. Really eye opening! I calmed down again until she showed us the c-section area and I freak again. I think its so scary to me b/c you NEVER know whats going to happen. Its so unpredictable and I am a planner so its hard to think about. I know I will be praying a ton while in labor:) Well the tour ended and its was really good to go and see what we are up against.

Sneak Peak of some pics from the maternity shoot

Super excited about our BOB stroller and Britax carseat!

Here is the baby room so far! Its still a work in progress but now its set up for the little one to live. We just need to make it all cute and decorate:)

Vacations

Went on a couple of trips in the last month and it was fun.

Grand Canyon Trip for Norris:
He went to the Grand Canyon with his dad and sister and people in his dads ward. He was gone for three days and he had lots of fun. I was so so sad I couldn't go but maybe next year when I am not 8 month pregnant.

Mammoth Trip with our friends:
We went to Mammoth for 5 days and stayed up in Norris Gma condo and it was so nice. We meet Shannon and Kyle up there. My mom came to hang and watch baby Jaden when Shannon, Kyle, Norris and I did some adventure stuff that wasn't conducive to a baby. We had lots of fun. We were able to relax, make dinner, sleep in, go on hikes, bike, and go out on the lake. One day we went on a hike around a lake up there and it was so beautiful. Another day we went to Mary lake rented some paddle boards and when out for two hours and then had lunch next to the lake. That was the most fun thing. It was everyone's first time and we all enjoyed it. We made this big raft at one point by putting all four paddle boards next to each other and flowed towards shore. On of the other days we just relaxed and went on a walk. Another day we went on a bike ride down a fun paved path. The boys did a dirt trail on time and the girls walked around the shopping area. And the very last day we woke up super early and did Rainbow Falls and it was pretty. It was a great fun hike. So glad we started early else we would have died from the heat. After the hike we went to The Stove ( a good breakfast place) and eat some yummy food. Over all it was a great trip.

Utah, Education Week with my mom and Janet (my mother-in-law):
I was really lucky that I had the time and opportunity to go and listen to great speaker all week teach different life lessons learned. Also to gain more knowledge. They have all types of classes like spiritual, nutrition, financial, and historical. It was great. We didn't go to classes all day but about 5 or so and then we took break shopping and eating. Glad I got to go. I really did learn a lot. The drive to Utah there and back wasn't that bad either. I thought since being 34 weeks it was going to be hard but not to bad.

Picture are to come!!

35 Weeks

So I am 35 weeks this week and I am getting more and more excited to meet this little guy. Things and slowing coming along and we are getting things ready here and there.

Problems: Right RIB! That's it. It hurts like 3/4 of the day most days. Some days its more painful than others. Also it starts hurting in my back every couple of days around the same area in the front. I don't feel like my lungs are quite squished yet but ribs do.

Doctors: Had a check up this week and I met a good Doctor that I am going to be seeing from now on cause they scheduled me with her from now on. She is Dr. Fung. She is nice and answered all my questions and wasn't in a rush, which is always nice. I have to go in every week now till the baby comes. I am glad the doctors office is close by:)

Movements: Baby is so fun that watch and feel. He is a character in there. I have a better idea of where the baby is at and what is what b/c we did an ultrasound about two weeks ago and the doctor could tell where things were and told us. I know the baby rotates and move a lot still but I feel I can still tell which side he has shifted. He is head down and his spine/ back is right along my right front side of my belly button, if that makes sense. On the left side he has a knee and a heal that pops out all the time. Some days he will rotate side and kick on the right side but mainly he likes the left side for kicking. His hands I believe are down low and when he moves them I feel it in my lower lower part of the uterus, it could be his head too. I can defiantly feel the pressure of his head when he stretches sometimes. He get the hiccups a lot more than he use to, at least once maybe even twice a day. The hiccups are always low which is a good indicator that he is still head down. Hoping this baby stays head down the whole time:)

Food: My habits are reverting back to my first trimester habits. I feel lazy about food again and just eat whatever is easy. I would wake up hungry all the time. I have noticed I am starting to feel this way again. For example, I love Oatmeal and making a bowl of it with fruit and honey on top most every morning but lately I am just too lazy and think cereal is just so much faster. Haha sad I know. Still cant do avocados.
Exercise: Well I have been on vacation for the last two weeks so its been a little hard to get the gym but I have stayed active which is nice. I started back up at the gym again this week and it feels good. Still able to move around pretty good and I am so happy about that.
Other thoughts: Still wearing my wedding ring and that makes me really happy:) I made a list of what I would want at the hospital and I am going to start get the bag ready. Also my birthing plan is slowly coming along too. Next week we are going to visit the hospital we will be delivering at and that should be exciting but unreal at the same time. That's it for now!

30 Weeks

So I am 30 weeks this week and not to much different.
Problems: Nothing really new just sore from working out.
Doctors: Had an appointment yesterday and all was good. The doctor just answered my questions and checked babies heartbeat. My weight gain was better, good blood pressure, measurement of my belly was good too. Nothing to complain about.
Movements: This baby moves all the time, day or night. The doctor asked about my kick counts and I said he moves lots so I dont have to count. She suggested to be away of a decrease for a long period of time. I feel lots of different movements. There are the power house kicks that are super random and its just one kick and then nothing else. There is the scrap, where he takes and elbow or knee it feels like and goes across my belly, it hurts. There is the rotation, where he seem to wake up and stretch and little then reposition himself. There is the Daddy wake me up move, where Norris starts talking to my belly and he wakes up and moves around, nothing crazy. There is the Alien Baby, where he does a big shift and his butt or head pops out on one side of my belly and looks super weird. Lastly there is the Crazy Man, where he is spazzing out in my belly. I dont even know what he is doing but it feels like arms and legs are moving at the same time and my belly is twitching.
Carrying: not any different.
Food: I have decided to eat healthier b/c last week we had In-&-Out for a meal and I decided to actually count up the calories for a cheeseburger, fries, and a milk shake and its CRAZY!!!! Its an entire DAYS worth for me before I was pregnant. I have cut out sugar for the week and surprising I have been doing really well. I thought it would be really hard. By cutting out sugar I mean that I am not eating dessert/ sweet. Natural sugar like fruit and honey are perfectly fine. I am also watching my excess eating of meals. I tend to eat a large amount then is actually necessary. I have been doing great the last 4 days and I am hoping to keep it up, especially for the weekend.
Exercise: This week I have been doing really good. I feel a little slower this week b/c I haven’t given myself a break like normal but nothing to strenuous. I need to feel sore, its good. I have a good workout partner, my mom, she holds me accountable. I am not going to like it when she goes back to school in a month and our schedule gets all messed up.

Other thoughts: I am getting pretty anxious to get a baby room set up. I know this is probably not going to happen b/c we have no room and space to have a baby room just a crib. It would be so fun to decorate a room and paint and get it all set up. Oh well, I will have to get my creative juices out by making other things, like a feeding cover and car seat cover.

Fun Week!

I went to the beach last week with Norris so he could go surfing one morning and not be all alone. He loves his new surfboard.
Norris is out there somewhere.

The next day I went to the beach again with Vanessa and her kids. It was so fun and I am glad they invited me to go. We layed out and played some football with Ashton.

Duran also proposed to Brittany this week and it has been a long time coming. I am excited for them!!!

This past weekend we went to Lawrence Welk with my parents just for a couple days. It was a fun short trip we played cards, made some food, went to the pool, saw the new Spiderman movie, and played some golf all 18 holes.

Friends and Family

Serena and I!!!

This was from a couple of weeks ago! I just forgot to post it.

So i am 28 weeks now. Wow time is flying now, before everything went really slow. Well
Problems: Nothing really this week except that the baby decided to wake up right when I go to sleep at night and the other night he would not stop moving. Seriously i felt like i wake up every couple of hours to the baby going crazy, not just jabs or kicks but full on rolls and triple kicks. Oh yeah my right rib hurts still randomly through out the day. Some days its hardly at all and others its painful and stays for a while. I haven't really had heart burn and I ran out of pills that prevent the heartburn and still nothing. That makes me very happy. I am hoping it does not come back.
Doctors: Next apt is the 18th and I see a different Doctor not the same midwife I have been seeing cause thats all they had open:( I was thinking about calling and seeing if they could switch it.
Movements: The baby is bigger and strong thats for sure. I like feeling him so active just not really while i am sleeping. Its funny cause he has been hanging out right around my belly button and thats where i feel him move the most. He does this alien roll thing and its very weird to watch. My belly gets all lopsided.
Carrying: Still feels like I am carrying low. I dont really feel him up in my ribs or anything. Just little kicks hear and there
Food: Still dont like mexican or avocados or asparagus, I cant really get myself to eat asparagus anymore and i love it before just like broccoli
Exercise: Still trying to exercise everyday but its more of just a class and maybe once or twice a week ill add in weights. I go with my mom in the morning and its nice.
Planning: Still have to figure out a name, where things are going to fit and go in our room, and the babies colors. I would like some type of theme for his colors and have the baby shower match but that might be far fetched.
To Do: I have to look up a class still and i have no idea where to start. I have to look up something local thats not really associated with the hospital b/c they classes are to far away to drive and cost the same as classes out here by local providers. Thats what my midwife said at least. I have to figure out where our couch is going to be stored so we can put the crib in the room. Also where to put a rocking chair.
Well I am excited for this weekend b/c we are going down to San Diego to hang with my parents at a resort and golf and swim and then Brandon Blair is getting married Sat so Serena is coming to town:)  It will be fun to reunite.

27 Weeks

This week I am 27 Week today and I am loving it. I cant really complain about being pregnant b/c its been pretty easy for me. Today was a great day. Went to the gym, eat a great breakfast, washed the car nice and clean, laid out in the sun, read my baby book, swam in the pool to cool off, and relaxed with a nice shower. I am lucky and blessed I don’t have to work and be all stressed!
Problems: Do my feet hurt or do they hurt? YES! At the end of the day my feet hurt pretty bad. I think its b/c I am 1. Heavier 2. I have loosened ligaments in my feet 3. My parents have hard tile floors that I walk on all the time bear foot. I need to keep my sandals on but even with them on my feet still hurt cause they are not super cushioned. I keep saying I need better shoes to support my feet around the house. I came home yesterday and there were a pair of sandal crocks in my room. My sweet dad bought me a pair for the house:) I started wearing them today and I think they will help lots. Love my dad. No other problems besides the feet.
Doctors:  I had a doctors appointment yesterday and all was good. I love hearing my babies heart beat and feeling him move. I am meeting with a midwife and I like her a lot. She is just nice and care about your opinion and thoughts. She is very helpful in answering my questions and explains things very well. I wish she could deliver my baby but its the luck of the draw with Kaiser. I will deliver down at Panorama City (30 mins away) and who every they have on shift at that time will be taking care of me. They have lots of doctors at that hospital and there will be a doctor, nurse, and a midwife on the floor at all times. I am pretty sure I am going to request whatever midwife is on shift to deliver instead of the doctor. Of course thats if everything goes good and there are no complications. I am thinking I want Norris, my mom, and maybe Norris' mom in the deliver room if they allow that many people. I need to sign up for a birthing class as well. So at my checkup yesterday my midwife and I figured out that I am 27 weeks instead of 25 weeks and 6 days. So its just 8 days earlier then I thought which is good I guess. So my due date would be Sept 29th. In the end it doesn't really matter b/c only 4% of expecting mothers give birth on the estimated due date. I am just shooting for a sept baby cause its sooner :) So next week I will be hitting the third trimester, yeah!
Movements: Stronger movement and in the last week or so I have been able to feel him up against my stomach. Its so neat. I feel it get all hard only in one little spot and know its the babies something pushing up against me:) Its fun to have other people feel too. Last week he did come up for about two day and it was super fun to have him up higher b/c I was able to see and feel all of his movements better. I can feel his movement when he is down low but its not very comfortable b/c he is always kicking my bladder. It was serious the cutest thing that happened the other night. Norris and I were watching a movie on night cuddling on the couch and the baby was sitting up higher in my stomach and he was seriously freaking out on the left side of my stomach and Norris just had his hand on my tummy and we were just laughing about it. He seemed to be doing turns, flips, serious kicks, and twitching. Then the baby stopped and all the sudden when Norris put his head on the right side on my stomach to rest the baby start to kick him right in the head, over and over again. He wouldn't stop either. Norris was talking into my tummy saying stop kicking me and he didnt. I was loving this. Its like the baby has its own personality already and he is playing with us.
Carrying: Still carrying low. They baby normally stays down low and sometimes will come up higher but then go back down quickly excepted for though few says last week.
Food: So I would eat a bag of popcorn at least once a week if not more. I love popcorn but since I have been pregnant I have not been in the mood for popcorn. I will look at popcorn and go nope don't want any. I cant wait to crave popcorn again. Guacamole, sick!!!! I think of it and its makes me kinda sick. I normally like it but that and avocados on things doesn't sound or taste good. They make my stomach turn up side down a little. I love love love fruit. Oh man I just want fruit and when I have it I could eat the whole bag of whatever it is. I went to Costco bought a huge thing of strawberries and grapes not even a week ago and they are already gone. I am 100% sure I am the one who eat them all too.
Exercise: Still feeling good to exercise. I didnt really get to much in the past two weeks b/c of our trip at Utah and then I got sick with a little cold last week and I just rested lots. But this week is good, I am feeling sore again and active with energy.
